Upcoming Workshops

MOVEMENT THAT ORGANISES: Therapeutic Pilates for Children
Saturday 06 June (NSW)
Saturday 08 August (VIC)
Explore how structured, intentional movement can support regulation, coordination, posture, and confidence in children.
This 2-hour in-person workshop provides Pilates professionals with a framework for working safely and effectively with children presenting with developmental differences, neurodivergence, postural challenges, growth-related concerns, or injury history.
Through discussion, demonstration, and a live child case study, participants will observe how Pilates principles can be adapted to meet the physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of children while maintaining engagement and therapeutic intent.

EXPLORING PELVIC RHYTHMS
Saturday 08 August (VIC)
Feel the natural rhythm of the pelvis and discover how subtle bone movement shapes alignment, posture, and movement efficiency.
In this hands-on, experiential workshop, you’ll use Franklin Method principles, guided imagery, and movement exploration to:
-
Experience pelvic mobility and stability
-
Integrate organised, rhythmic movement into your practice
-
Observe and support movement quality in yourself and others

EXPLORING KNEE INTELLIGENCE
Saturday 08 August (VIC)
Knees often get a bad reputation, yet they are exquisitely designed to adapt to load, respond to movement, and manage powerful forces every day. In this Franklin Method–based workshop, participants will move beyond common narratives of “problem knees” and explore the knee as an intelligent, adaptable joint within the whole body system.
Through embodied anatomy, dynamic imagery, and functional movement exploration, participants will experience how efficient, coordinated movement supports knee health in daily activities such as walking, standing, and transitioning through space. By establishing clear, functional movement fundamentals, more specific training goals—whether athletic, rehabilitative, or performance-based—can be approached with greater ease, confidence, and sustainability.
This workshop emphasizes awareness, adaptability, and practical application, offering tools that can be immediately integrated
Get ready to understand movement like you've never learned before!
Embodiment & Imagery
Change your body by changing your mind

The Franklin Method® is a ground breaking training technique helping you unlock your body’s full potential through exercise, imagery and anatomical understanding based on Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagination (DNI)
The Franklin Method is a highly effective, evidence-based approach to movement education focusing on the body and its function. It has been practiced for some 30 years and taught at numerous illustrious institutions around the globe.
DNI is the heart of the Franklin Method - this is the use of metaphorical mental imagery to support the development of healthy physical function, strength, mobility and coordination. In other words, we combine visualisation techniques with physical exercises to improve movement.
The Franklin Method can be used as stand-alone training as well as a compliment to yoga, Pilates, dance, physiotherapy and many other disciplines. It can help you hone and embody the movements you already practice in everyday life, training and teaching.
The Franklin Method can help you improve your coordination, body awareness, flexibility, mobility, strength and understanding of the body. You can learn our method for personal development with our workshops and teacher training courses.
